Conformation Handling

My name is Kevin Carroll and I’m the owner of Yakumo Sou Japanese Akitainu kennel here in WNY. I started breeding Japanese Akitainu 20 years ago. I began actively partaking in junior handling as a young teen traveling across Europe, and I’ve handled dozens of breeds across all of the groups.

I am now an owner/breeder/handler/judge for both AKC (open) and UKC as well as a member of our breed parent club both here in the USA and Japan.

Prior to moving to the USA from Ireland, I was working on my FCI judges license. I’ve shown at world dog shows, European dog shows, and national dog shows across Europe and attended countless education seminars.

I’m excited to give back to the conformation world through my handling classes!
